Erudite human rights lawyer, distinguished international jurist at the International Court of Justice, The Hague, 1962-1966, Biafran chief justice, ambassador extraordinary, and one of the leading intellectuals who defends the people during the Igbo genocide by Nigeria and ally Britain, foundational genocide of post-(European) conquest Africa, 29 May 1966-12 January 1970, in which 3.1 million Igbo or one-quarter of this nation’s population are murdered
